Lions and Tigers and Bears, Oh my!

Well, the lions come in because last week, I visited them at the MGM  Grand in Las Vegas.

I travelled to ‘hot as hades’ Vegas to attend James Malinchak’s Millionaire Speaker Secrets Revealed Bootcamp – Big Money Speakers event. It  was FANTASTIC.

There are so many things I learned and so many that I want to share with you. First off, I’m not usually one to say something like this but James is brilliant. He’s a continuous student, and has been studying the psychology of selling for a long time. This was some of the most interesting information I gained throughout the event because I too, have a great interest in psychology.

One of the things that he shared with us along these lines was that if you have anything negative, or less than positive things to talk about on stage, speak to the opposite side of the room that your product is located. Think about it. How smart is that?! This keeps your product in a positive light and gains you more sales.

He also talked about handling hecklers or sh%! disturbers in your audience. Again, when you have something negative to talk about, do it while standing in front of or beside the heckler. Put a hand on his shoulder and squeeze too. Don’t allow them to disrespect and discount what you have to say, which is positive to the rest of the audience. Again, a great eye-opener for me. Thankfully, I haven’t encountered any of these types in my audiences yet, but you never know!

There were countless ah-ha moments and I took plenty of notes. I’ll continue on with what I learned in subsequent posts.
